The report describes Santander's 2021 double-materiality assessment and continued progress toward its net-zero-by-2050 ambition. It reports expanded green and sustainable finance, financial inclusion programmes and diversity progress, including 40% women on the board and 54% women across the workforce. The Responsible banking chapter contains detailed ESG metrics and was independently verified with limited assurance by PwC.
