Annual Report

The report describes Bangladesh Bank's FY23 response to economic and financial-sector pressures alongside substantial sustainability-finance activity. Banks and NBFIs disbursed BDT 1,461,819.59 million in sustainable finance, including BDT 149,999.68 million in green finance, while 229,592 projects were rated using environmental and social due diligence. Digital payments grew 34 percent in volume and 40 percent in value compared with the previous fiscal year.
