Overview

The report presents Bank Nizwa's second sustainability report for 2023, prepared in accordance with the GRI Standards and aligned with the UN Global Compact, SDGs, Oman Vision 2040, and MSX ESG 30 metrics. Highlights include 91% Omanization, 94% of budget spend on local suppliers, a first sustainability-linked finance deal in Oman, and zero data breaches or regulatory complaints. It reports 70 tco2e of Scope 1 emissions and 382 tco2e of Scope 2 emissions, while noting that 2023 electricity data covers only head-office consumption.
