The report highlights BEA’s measurement of financed emissions across five high-emitting sectors and its start on sector carbon-reduction targets. Group green and sustainable finance loans and ESG bond investments reached 14.9% of corporate loans and bond investments. Operational emissions were 31% below the 2019 baseline, and BEA reported being on track for its 2030 operational net-zero target.
