Overview

The report describes the Bank of Greece's continued integration of sustainability principles into its operations in 2022, including ISO certification of its Environmental Management System and projects addressing the environment and climate change. It contains a dedicated environment, energy and climate chapter covering the energy crisis, climate policy, greenhouse-gas trends and the Bank's sustainability actions. The Bank's Climate Change and Sustainability Centre supported adaptation-finance work, sustainable-finance research and climate-related disclosures, including a planned first TCFD-aligned portfolio climate-footprint disclosure.
