Sustainability Report

The report presents Banpu Power's 2019 sustainability performance across economic, environmental and social topics. Highlights include a GHG emissions intensity of 0.644 tonnes CO2e/MWh, total energy consumption of 11,113 TJ, reduced water consumption and extensive reuse of ash and gypsum. The report records zero work-related fatalities within its operational-control boundary and describes programs covering renewable energy, safety, community engagement and biodiversity. It was prepared in accordance with the GRI Standards and received limited external assurance from Lloyd's Register.
