The report presents Banyan Tree's 2010 group-wide sustainability activities, highlighting the expansion of EarthCheck benchmarking from one to 13 properties. It records 46,980 trees planted across 17 resorts, exceeding the 34,000 annual target and bringing the four-year total to 96,673 against a 96,000 target. The Seedlings initiative reached 46 young people under mentorship and scholarship and 89 trained mentors, alongside community education and conservation activities.
