Overview

The report describes Banyan Tree's 2013 sustainability progress across environmental conservation, community engagement, and sustainable development. It reports 57,133 trees planted across 22 resorts, bringing cumulative planting since 2007 to 277,764 against a 220,000 target. EarthCheck participation expanded, with 29 of 35 hotels active and nine sectors certified, while Laguna Lăng Cô became the Group's first development to receive external design certification. The Seedlings programme also supported 71 young people through mentorship and scholarships.
