Overview

The report describes Barry Callebaut’s launch of the CHF 40 million Cocoa Horizons initiative and its focus on farmer practices, education, and health. During fiscal 2011/12, 82 farmer cooperatives representing 31,806 farmers participated in the Quality Partner Program in Côte d’Ivoire. The report also reports 218,325 MTCO2e of Scope 1 and 2 emissions excluding biomass, 16% energy from renewable sources, and the first report prepared in accordance with GRI.
