Overview

The report sets 2025 goals to lift more than 500,000 cocoa farmers out of poverty, eradicate child labor, become carbon and forest positive, and make ingredients sustainable. For 2016/17, it reports 5,814 farmers receiving productivity support and 247 child-labor cases identified and remediated. It also reports a supply-chain carbon footprint of 8.23 million tonnes CO2e and a carbon intensity of 4.32 tonnes CO2e per tonne of product.
