Sustainability Report

Overview

The report describes BLKB's 2021 sustainability programme, including its membership of the Net-Zero Banking Alliance and alignment of loan and investment portfolios to net zero emissions by 2050. It reports using TCFD methods to identify and disclose climate risks and opportunities. Sustainability was further embedded through a training module for all staff and a dedicated Sustainable Finance Manager. Operational greenhouse gas emissions totalled 823 tonnes of CO~2~e, while the report also presents extensive GRI-based workforce, environmental and governance data.
