Shaping the Future Report

Overview

The report combines BASF's financial and sustainability reporting in one publication for the first time. For 2007, the BASF Group reported sales of 57,951.3 million EUR and 95,175 employees at year-end. The report also describes global environmental goals, including a 25% reduction in specific greenhouse gas emissions by 2020 compared with 2002. It discloses four fatal accidents at BASF and partner companies during the year.
