BASF Report

Overview

The report presents BASF's integrated economic, environmental and social performance for 2011. It reports 111,141 employees at year-end and worldwide greenhouse gas emissions of 25.8 million metric tons. BASF also set a 2020 goal to reduce greenhouse gas emissions per metric ton of sales product by 40% from the 2002 baseline. Sustainability reporting was aligned with GRI G3.1 and served as a progress report on the U.N. Global Compact.
