Sustainability Report

The report presents BASF's sustainability narrative through climate protection and circular-economy initiatives. It says renewable electricity reduced greenhouse gas emissions by approximately 1 million tons of CO2 in fiscal 2024 and describes SCOTT calculations for product carbon footprints across more than 40,000 products at over 230 locations. It also describes mass-balance use of renewable and recycled raw materials and the loopamid textile-recycling project. BASF states an ambition to increase annual Loop Solutions sales from 5 billion to 10 billion euros by 2030.
