Annual Report

The report combines Bayer Group financial reporting with material sustainability information in an integrated Annual Report. For 2023, it reports a 42% reduction target for Scope 1 and 2 emissions by the end of 2029 and a 12.3% target for relevant Scope 3 categories. The report also discloses 2023 Scope 1 emissions of 1.89 million metric tons of CO2 equivalents, market-based Scope 2 emissions of 1.11 million metric tons, and total Scope 3 emissions of 9.18 million metric tons. Sustainability governance is supported by a dedicated Supervisory Board ESG Committee.
