The report presents BMW Group sustainability performance for 2016 across the value chain, including a 63% share of renewable energy purchased from third parties, 124,729 employees at year-end, and substantial resource-efficiency and emissions disclosures. It describes long-term sustainability goals covering products, production, employees and society, supported by a materiality process and GRI G4 Comprehensive reporting. The entire report was externally audited by PricewaterhouseCoopers GmbH with limited assurance.
