Overview

The report presents the BMW Group's 2019 sustainability performance across its full value chain, including total emissions of 75,987,119 t CO2 and Scope 1, 2 and 3 reporting. It reports total energy consumption of 5,974,625 MWh and an 87% share of renewable energy purchased from third parties. The BMW Group employed 133,778 people at year-end and reported zero fatal accidents in 2019. The report was prepared in accordance with the GRI Standards and received limited assurance from PricewaterhouseCoopers GmbH.
