Overview

The report presents selected BMW Group sustainability indicators for FY 2023, including global carbon, energy, water, waste, workforce and governance disclosures. It reports 134,699,641 t CO2 | CO2e total footprint, 6,380,652 MWh total energy consumption, 5,049,144 m3 water consumption and 927,880 t waste generated. It also highlights 2030 strategic objectives, including an 80% reduction in production carbon emissions per vehicle and reductions of >50% in the vehicle use phase and >20% in the supply chain. The overview states that the underlying BMW Group Report 2023 was independently audited by PwC.
