Group Annual Report and Accounts

The report describes the BBC's 2019/20 response to coronavirus while delivering its public-service mission, and reports consolidated total income of £4,943 million. Environmental reporting shows gross Scope 1 and 2 emissions of 61,947 tonnes CO2e, with emissions reduced by 77% against 2015/16 and 95% of titles measuring their impact. The Group reported 22,718 employees at 31 March 2020 and 48.3% women among all staff. The report also provides extensive diversity, equality and inclusion reporting across staff, leadership and freelancers.
