Sustainability Report

The report describes BD's 2013 sustainability performance across health access, governance, product safety, environment and workplace initiatives. It highlights that BD achieved 80 percent of its 2015 sustainability targets ahead of schedule, including a 35 percent absolute GHG reduction from the FY08 baseline, including RECs. Global operations were powered by 33% renewable energy and US operations by 65%. The report also documents expanded workforce safety, inclusion and community-health programs.
