Environmental Report

The report records 2023 total energy consumption of 1,202,500 MWh and total waste of 188,500 tons. It reports a group-wide target to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 50 percent from a 2018 baseline, with the target validated by the SBTi in 2021. Total reported Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions were 1,778,200 tons of CO2e, while Scope 3 emissions after consolidation were 1,612,300 tons of CO2e. The report also describes lower energy and waste totals compared with the previous year.
