It reports 219,869 MT CO 2e of Scope 1, 354,451 MT CO 2e of Scope 2 and 1,019,791 MT CO 2e of Scope 3 emissions. Best Buy reset its goal to reduce absolute carbon emissions 45 percent by 2020 from a 2009 baseline, while reporting more than 161 million pounds of electronics and 106 million pounds of appliances collected for recycling.
