Year in Review

The report reviews Better Shelter's 2021 humanitarian work and identifies SDGs 3, 4, 5, 9, 13 and 17 as the goals toward which it will report. It highlights delivery of 4,636 shelter units in 2021, including classrooms, homes and child-friendly spaces, across 17 countries. Environmental actions included reducing emissions on one inbound route by 40%, reducing inbound-shipment emissions by 10% year on year, and establishing a Panama warehouse to reduce air freight. The report also describes weekly employee wellbeing surveys and zero tolerance for corrupt practices.
