Environment Sustainability Report

The report presents BHEL's first environmental sustainability report, covering 14 manufacturing units for 2011-12 and describing its GRI-G3-based reporting approach. It reports energy consumption of 4,567 TJ and water consumption of 16.11 Million M3. The report also describes environmental initiatives including renewable-energy installations, water harvesting, and recycling and reuse efforts.
