Overview

The report presents BHEL's FY2015-16 performance against a difficult business environment, including consolidated turnover of INR 27314 Crore and 15059 MW of power equipment commissioned or synchronized. It reports 42198 employees and 4.18 training man-days per employee, alongside 8.08 Million Units generated through in-house renewable systems. Sustainability initiatives included carbon-footprint avoidance of 7800 MT CO2-e, CSR spending and continued water reuse, recycling and zero-liquid-discharge efforts.
