Sustainability Report

The report presents BHEL's 2021-22 sustainability performance across its manufacturing units, covering economic, environmental and social impacts. It reports 29 MWp of in-house solar capacity, 27.17 Million Units generated, and a 3.51% renewable share of total energy consumption. Scope 1 and 2 emissions were 126,295 and 198,336 MT CO2-e respectively, while total waste generated was 25721.56 Metric Tonnes. The report was prepared in accordance with GRI Standards using the comprehensive option, with no external assurance sought.
