Sustainable Development Report

Overview

The report presents BPCL's 2016-17 sustainability performance across environmental, social and economic priorities. The company increased renewable energy capacity to 22.17 MW and reports an annual GHG reduction of 34,000 MTCO2e from energy initiatives. It also reports four work-related fatalities during the year and continued CSR programmes in education, water conservation, skill development, health and community development.
