Overview

The report describes Biffa's launch of its 10-year Resourceful, Responsible sustainability strategy, supported by plans to unlock £1.25bn of green-economy infrastructure investment. It targets a further 50% reduction in emissions by 2030, alongside expanded recycling and lower-carbon collections. The year also saw the opening of the Seaham PET recycling facility and the Group's best-ever health and safety performance, despite the operational disruption caused by COVID-19.
