Sustainability Report

The report describes Biffa's progress in enabling a circular economy, reducing emissions, and supporting communities. It reports a 37% reduction in market-based Scope 1 and 2 emissions against the 2019 baseline, with near-term Scope 1, 2, and 3 targets validated by the Science Based Targets initiative. Biffa also reports 100% renewable energy purchased for its tariff, 559,000 tonnes of business waste collected for recycling, and more than 39,000 people supported by Community Hubs.
