Annual Report

The report describes a difficult 2023 for the company's South African coal operations, including two lost-time injuries and lower production and export volumes. It reports 47,310 tonnes of gross CO2e emissions, comprising 39,709 tonnes from fuel and fugitive sources and 7,601 tonnes from location-based purchased energy. The company states that it aligned its climate disclosures with the TCFD recommendations and that the Board has ultimate responsibility for climate-risk oversight. The Board had no women among its seven members at 31 December 2023.
