Overview

The report describes BKW's 2023 sustainability strategy through the seven-area SUCCESS Framework and a double materiality analysis. It reports group-wide 2023 emissions of 1,251.3 thousand tonnes CO2eq, including Scope 1, 2 and 3, and energy consumption of 367.6 GWh. BKW set an Energy-business net-zero ambition for 2040 and continued renewable expansion, with 62% of energy production from renewable sources. The report also highlights supply-chain due diligence, biodiversity measures, strengthened compliance and zero occupational-accident fatalities.
