Overview

The report describes BOCHK's CSR governance through a CSR Committee chaired by the Chief Executive and comprising senior management and subsidiary chief executives. It reports green-office measures that reduced annual electricity consumption by about 2.85 million kWh, carbon dioxide emissions by 1,700 tons and energy costs by HK$4.3 million per year. The report also highlights green-credit services, substantial charitable support and employee development, including 2,890 training courses for 207,400 participants in 2009.
