Overview

The report presents Brenntag's 2017 sustainability performance across its global chemical distribution business. It reports 15,416 Group employees at year-end and consolidated Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions of 150,472 tonnes and 66,085 tonnes, respectively. The Group's accident rate rose slightly to 1.7, while supplier sustainability assessments covered around 64% of total chemical spend. The separate non-financial Group report received limited assurance from PricewaterhouseCoopers pursuant to ISAE 3000.
