Overview

The report describes BAT Bangladesh's 2021 ESG performance across environmental, social and governance priorities. It highlights an 8.0% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions against the 2017 baseline, 18% water recycling and 99% waste recycling with zero waste to landfill at manufacturing and processing sites. Social initiatives included distributing 5 million saplings and installing the 110th safe-drinking-water filtration plant, with the programme providing 560,000 litres daily to more than 270,000 beneficiaries.
