Overview

The report presents British American Tobacco's integrity-focused approach to regulation, responsible marketing, product standards and the fight against the illicit tobacco trade. It highlights a Group workforce of 55,000+ employees and £30+ billion paid annually to governments in excise and other taxes. For 2012, the report records 14 instances of partial or non-compliance with International Marketing Standards and 98% adherence among markets required to undertake youth smoking prevention activities. Ernst & Young LLP provided limited external assurance of the focus report.
