ESG Report

Overview

The report presents BAT's ESG performance for calendar year 2020 across harm reduction, environmental management, social impact and governance. It reports a 30.9% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions, 26.8% renewable energy use and 15.3% water recycled. The report also records 90.7% waste recycled, 100% SoBC sign-off and 33% women on the Board. It sets carbon-neutrality targets for Scope 1 and 2 by 2030 and Scope 3 by 2050.
