Annual Report and Accounts

The report describes the British Council's 2019–20 global reach of 983 million people and its rapid shift to online teaching and services during the Covid-19 crisis. It reports total income of £1,289 million and a 15 per cent reduction in the global carbon footprint to 22,528 tCO~2~e. The report also highlights extensive international education, arts and cultural programmes delivered across more than 100 countries.
