Overview

The report sets out BT Group’s FY25 ESG priorities through a double materiality assessment covering eight material ESG topics and seven business fundamentals. It reports a 52% reduction in operational carbon emissions and a 25% reduction in supply-chain carbon emissions against FY17, with net-zero targets for Scopes 1 and 2 by 2031 and Scope 3 by 2041. FY25 environmental data includes 2,444 GWh total energy, 2,853,536 tonnes CO2e of Scope 3 emissions and over 164 ktonnes of global operational waste. The people data records 87,772 employees and 42% women on the Board.
