Annual Report

The report describes a seventh consecutive year of sales and profit growth, with fiscal 2016 net sales up 10.8% and operating income up 16.3%. Overseas sales reached 11.9% of net sales, supported by growth in North America and South Korea and entry into new markets. Calbee also reported continued expansion in its cereal business and described new health and productivity management initiatives. Its environmental targets included reducing the CO2 emissions rate by 11% against fiscal 2010 levels by the end of fiscal 2021.
