The report highlights sustainability-project benefits reported in 2014 for projects completed in 2013: approximately $4.6 million in cost avoidance, nine per cent energy-use improvements, 1,143 tonnes of annual waste avoidance, and 2,100 m3 of water avoidance. It also reports the company’s first inclusion in CDP’s Carbon Disclosure Leadership Index and the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index, and provides a 2013 corporation and extended value-chain footprint of 4,308,206 tCO2e.
