Sustainability Report

The report records Canal's 99.91% completion of its 2018-2030 Strategic Plan objectives and the approval of new sustainability and corporate plans. It describes a first double-materiality analysis that reviewed more than 140 impacts, risks and opportunities and identified 16 material issues. The report also highlights 2024 operational progress, including the connection of 614,787 smart meters and reuse of 14.99 million cubic metres of reclaimed water. GHG emissions reached 192,261 tonnes of CO2 equivalent, with the increase linked mainly to the restarted South WWTP sludge-drying plant.
