Sustainability Report

The report describes CAP Group's 2019 transformation toward sustainable value creation across mining, steel, processing and infrastructure. Highlights include 0 fatalities, 4,856 own workers, 8,843 contractors, and governance changes that added seven women as directors in operating companies. The Group reports 346,248 Tons of waste generated and 93% recycled, alongside 7,800 thousand m3 of desalinated water produced. It also records eleven operational incidents with environmental consequences and a commitment to a fair transition to a low-carbon emissions economy in 2050.
