Corporate Responsibility Report

The report describes Capita's 2012 corporate responsibility activities across clients, employees, suppliers, the environment and communities. It states that overall CR management sits with the Group Board and reports 52,500 employees. Environmental performance includes absolute carbon emissions of 103,728 tonnes CO2eq and a carbon-intensity reduction target of 4.5% per year, while employee development included over 11,393 classroom-training days. Community investment reached £1.8m using London Benchmarking Group methodology.
