Sustainability Report

The report describes CEHL's 2021 sustainability performance for 29 completed operating projects in Mainland China, while excluding joint ventures, overseas projects and projects not yet fully operational. It reports 5.9225 million tonnes of solid waste processed, 821,562 tonnes of total GHG emissions, 6,837,526 MWh of energy consumption and 7,418,563 cubic meters of water consumption. Governance highlights include full Board responsibility for sustainability and a stakeholder questionnaire that identified 18 material issues. Social disclosures include 2,110 employees and one work-related fatality during the year.
