Overview

The report describes Carlsberg Group's 2011 efforts to improve energy and water efficiency, including a 9.3% energy-efficiency improvement and a group-wide water-risk assessment. It reports responsible drinking initiatives in 85% of major markets and continued work across the value chain, from packaging to sourcing. Health and safety performance improved, although two fatalities were included in the 2011 group figures. Selected environmental and safety information was independently assured by KPMG using limited assurance.
