Responsibility Report

Overview

The report is CarMax's first Responsibility Report, covering FY2019 from March 1, 2018 through February 28, 2019. It highlights more than 25,000 associates, 100% location participation in associate-led volunteer projects, and more than 45% associate engagement with community programs. Environmental reporting records 292,095,668 kWh of electricity consumption, including 393,999 kWh from renewable sources; the energy table separately reports total energy of 1,841,523 Gigajoules and 0.08% renewable energy.
