Overview

The report describes Cathay Pacific Group's 2021 sustainability performance during the continuing COVID-19 disruption. It reports 21,635 group employees, 6,020,691 tCO 2e of Scope 1 emissions, and a commitment to net-zero carbon emissions by 2050, supported by a 10% SAF target by 2030. The Group generated 8,449 tonnes of general waste and diverted at least 680 tonnes from landfill. The report also details vaccine transportation, food and item donations, materiality assessment, TCFD-aligned climate analysis, and external assurance of selected GHG and offset data.
