Overview

The report describes Cathay Pacific's 2022 sustainability performance across climate, operations and people. The Group reported 5,349,881 tCO2e of gross Scope 1 emissions and completed its first Scope 3 inventory, totaling 5,205,000 tCO2e across selected categories. It reaffirmed a net-zero carbon emissions commitment for Scope 1 and 2 by 2050, while reporting 20,923 employees worldwide. Operational highlights included launching Asia's first major Corporate SAF programme and achieving a 56% reduction in single-use plastics on a per-passenger basis.
