The report records a third consecutive year of solid financial performance, with Cathay Group revenue reaching HK$116,766 million, up 11.9%. Its year-end workforce grew to 33,369. Reported Scope 1 and 2 emissions were 16.8 million tonnes of CO2e and net carbon intensity was 746 grammes of CO2e per RTK; the company also states a 12% intensity-reduction target by 2030 and a 2050 operational net-zero target. Passenger-facing single-use-plastic items fell to 1.7 pieces per passenger from 2.6 in 2024.
