Overview

The report presents Cencosud's 2023 regional sustainability performance across governance, people, planet and product, including a double-materiality assessment. It reports 559,947 TonCO2eq of Scope 1 emissions, 167,717 TonCO2eq of Scope 2 emissions and 95,338 metric tons of Scope 3 emissions, while total energy consumption was 1,380,152 MWh and renewable energy represented 34%. The workforce totaled 121,657 employees, with 37% women in leadership positions and zero fatalities among employees and contractors. Deloitte performed a limited assurance engagement over selected DJSI indicators.
